Z-PAC Theatre Creating Entertainment and Opportunity
MEET THE MEMBERS OF YOUR EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT TEAM
Z-PAC Theatre is an incorporated Not for Profit Organisation.
The Management of the Theatre is run by a Committee, elected each year at their AGM. (before the end of March).
According to the Constitution, the committee consists of 7 executive members.
President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Artistic Director, Technical Director and Promotions Co-ordinator.
The Committee may invite others to attend meetings on a regular basis, or as required.

B.A. Dip. Teach
Liane has a High School Teaching degree, an Arts Degree from UQ and over 20 years running small businesses in Hervey Bay. She has been actively engaged in the administration of many associations – Hervey Bay Softball Association and Misfits Softball Club – and has been both secretary and treasurer of Stage Rats Theatre Restaurant.
Liane had an interest in theatre all her life, most recently performing with a number of theatre groups on the Fraser Coast, including performances in Oliver, Three Musketeers and Cosi at the Brolga, eight years performing with Stage Rats Theatre Restaurant, over the last 3 years writing and directing two of their most successful shows, Spy Club and Cruise Club.
Liane has also performed with Macabre Theatre (Oliver) and in several productions at Z-PAC Theatre, including A Murder is Announced, Calendar Girls, Hoovering on The Edge, the Wireless Wit show and A Night of Dark Intent.
In 2016 she was seen in The Odd Couple, Plaza Suite, And Then there was None (directing) and in 2017 is Directing/Acting in Sex Please We're Sixty and will be involved in the Pantomime.
She is passionate about what Z-PAC can provide to this community, both in terms of quality entertainment, and also in providing the opportunity for people of all ages and all backgrounds to belong to a theatre family and contribute in a meaningful way to wonderful community projects.

B.Ec., LL.B GradDip ACG
Steve is a former practising lawyer and continues to consult in governance across a multitude of organisations in the community sector.
He has been a long term resident of Hervey Bay with many community interests including life membership in the Chamber of Commerce and Apex.
He has also been part of the executive in many other associations in the Fraser Coast Including President of Outrigging, Sec/Treasurer of the Hervey Bay Tourism and Development Bureau, President of the Hervey Bay Whale Festival, Director of the Hervey Bay RSL, together with a variety of appointments in federal, state and local government community committees.
Steve has a strong interest in local education, having helped form Education Hervey Bay, and continues to serve on the University of Southern Queensland's Governing Council since his appointment in 2006.
Steve is Z-PAC's Wireless Wit compare, having been our Radio Announcer for the past four Wireless Wit shows and this year is even delving into acting. Steve has a long term interest in theatre and the arts generally.

Z-PAC Theatre's Artistic Director has been performing for over six years now. He was last seen in ZPAC's Cosi and the Brolga's production of Mary Poppins. His debut in the region was as the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz.
He has been fortunate enough to experience many forms of drama, musicals, pantomimes and even street performing in this culturally rich region; enhancing his repertoire as a Drama Teacher. Gavin is very proud of many of his students who made their theatre debut in local productions and being heavily involved in companies such as Addictive Dramatics.
Gavin brings to Z-PAC a wealth of education, experience and enthusiasm which is greatly valued.
A relatively recent transplant to the Hervey Bay theatre scene, Jeff Sweeney began down in Newcastle, N.S.W. with Footlice Theatre and the Newcastle University. Having thoroughly enjoyed his time working last year with Stage Rats on Cruise Club, and following on from Wireless Wit in February, Jeff has jumped into the role of Technical Director.
