TRINITY ENJOYS Mbro Arts Council Bursary Prize over the holidays

“I cannot thank Maryborough Arts Council, ZPAC and Twilla, enough for the amazing opportunity to attend the McGregor Summer Retreat; I learnt so much! I feel as though this experience has added to the development and improvement of my voice and skill set.

Throughout vocal class we covered many units such as warming up, vocal health, breathing, backing vocals, harmonisation, improvisation, alternate annunciation of vowels and consonants, and articulation. During my elective class I had the opportunity to write, compose and record my own song, as well as learn some of the intricacies of the equipment. During ensemble practice we discussed repertoire and mapped out music for the songs performed in the final concert, I have attached the link of videos for two of them (Tuxedo Junction & Smooth Criminal).

I boarded 8 nights at the Steel Rudd campus, made many wonderful new friends & networks, my fellow boarders travelled from all over Australia to be at this retreat. The calibre of students included – Alexa the winner of the tv show “The Voice” and the lead singers of the Wizard of Oz – Caitlin, and many more wonderful musician and artist.

We bonded quickly due to our amazing “house parent” Dayle organising fun extracurricular activities in the evening.

Once again thank you all for your support – I am absolutely filled with gratitude.”

A Big THANK YOU to Michelle and Les and the team at Hervey Bay Security

102 Islander Rd, Pialba QLD 4655 1300 651 427

For almost 4 years they have been monitoring the Security at Z-PAC, attending the premises when the alarm goes off and checking it day and night on their rounds.  Unfortunately, we are often subject to unwanted intruders and the security system is of great deterrent and keeps damage to a minimum.

We are now upgrading our security even further and Hervey Bay Security has offered to put in all the new units at no cost!!  How generous!! Please support this local business which not only provides an amazing range of security services, but also is a wonderful support of Z-PAC Theatre!

Thanks Michelle and Les!
