Dear Z-PAC Members and Supporters
This is my last little note as I retire as President after 7 years on the committee and hand the torch over to our new President David Coleman and his new hard-working team.
When I was a little girl, my dream was to be involved in theatre. It was nearly 50 years later that Z-PAC Theatre gave me the chance, and I will be forever grateful. I’ve loved being able to help mould and shape this little theatre into, what I hope you will agree, is bigger, brighter premises, and a more inclusive theatrical home for young and old to enjoy – both volunteers and patrons. The work is not completed, but it’s getting there and I’m sure the new committee will take up this mantle and lift it even further.
I am looking forward to focusing my seemingly (at the moment) boundless energies elsewhere – on my wonderful, so patient partner Steve, (who has been loyally at my side both on the committee and on the stage during all this time) on our families, on our travels, on my play writing, on my Spanish studies, on our healthy lifestyle and much more, including our beautiful first grandchild arriving in June. I hope I will have the opportunity to direct again one day, maybe act again one day too.
Thank you all for your support and friendship.
Best wishes to all, stay safe and happy.
